Maasai Mara National Reserve - also known as the Maasai Mara and by the local people as The Mara, is a large game reserve in the Narok County, in Kenya. It is named in honour of the Maasai people.
It is globally famous for its exceptional population of Lions, Leopards and Cheetahs, and the annual migration Zebra, Thompson Gazelle and Wildebeest to and from the Serengeti every year from July to October.
